HOW TO MAKE COMPUTER RUN FASTER

I am so much convinced that one of the annoying things that can happen to any computer-user is for the computer to run slowly when using it. Isn't it? But, people often forget that a faster computer or slower one depends mostly on the computer handling! Why do I said this?

Just follow me in this little write-up to show you ways to make your computer run faster and  the reasons to prove  that you can be responsible for your faster or slower computer directly or indirectly. Let us examine these points one by one.

*POWER INFLUENCE
One of my tested and verified ways to speed up your laptop is to connect it to power when
in use if you are closer to power source. Some computers are built not to run optimally when on battery. Some of the computer functionalities, speed inclusive, will not be in its normal usage-position when on battery use. As a result of this, connect your computer to power source if you are closer to it for speedy processing of data and workability.

*CLOSE UNNECESSARY PROGRAMS
Again, one of the ways to speed up your computer is to close some of the opened-programs which you don’t currently need. Why? For every computer program opens down unnecessarily, there will be a corresponding space it occupies on computer memory and thereby slowing down the speed. In other words, close any program you are not currently using and speed up your computer.

*UNPLUG ANY UNUSED COMPUTER-PERIPHERALS
Computer is a wonderful device, some other peripherals/devices can be connected to it to derive their usefulness. For example, scanner, printer, projector, game and so on. All these devices that have just been mentioned send and receive messages from computer before they can process information. This in one way or the other contributes to the slowness or fastness of your computer. When you know your scanner is not needed right away or the printer is not useful at the moment, the best way to help your computer processing-energy is to turn these devices off. Doing this can help your computer and even save power!

*HEAT CONTROL
Do you know computer doesn’t like heat? Yes, heat is one of the things that can kill the speed of your computer and the computer itself if it is too much especially when you are running on AMD processor. As a result, make sure you operate your computer in a ventilated place. Pay a special attention to where the CPU and Power Fan is located.  Make sure dust doesn’t clog up the fan movement. Doing this will definitely will help your computer run faster.

*MEMORY UPGRADE
Another good way to speed up your computer is to upgrade the default memory if you can. As you know, nearly every day, software upgrade is available on the internet. Thus, your system gets updated every time it connects to the internet to receive fresh and latest updates. You need more memory to get along with this development. Fresh and latest updates with an old memory capacity can slow down your system. Thus, upgrade your system memory, it pays. But, make sure you get compatible ones. Most laptop memory is not difficult to locate; it is situated at the back of the computer. If you cannot do this on your own, it is advisable to call the attention of a good engineer to do it for you.

*RE-INSTALLATION OF OPERATING SYSTEM
When you discover that despite all your efforts to make the computer run faster prove abortive, meaning nothing meaningful is achievable. The best thing to do is to format your system. What I mean is to re-install the operating system of your computer so that it can run faster. Before you format, make sure you back up all the necessary information from the computer hard drive to an external storage device. You can buy external hard disk to do this job for you.

I hope these aforementioned ways will go a long way to make your computer run faster. No one likes sluggish computer, but, good things don’t come up easily, you have to work for it. Doing what I mentioned in this article can be of great help to make your computer run faster.
