HOW TO TAKE GOOD CARE OF CELLULAR PHONE BATTERY

It is a known fact that our cellular phone battery is a very important part of our phone, that is very true and it cannot be argued about. In this post, i wish to share with you how to make your battery phone last longer through these easily followed steps i will analyze here.

Although, many say that when the phone battery begins to show “anyhow signs, it is better to buy another one. But, for me, I disagree; you can make use of your battery for a longer period of time if you know what it takes to take care of it. Not to waste your time, let us check these tips out on how to take effective care of your cellular phone battery and thus extending its life.

1.
Switch-off you phone at night when you want to sleep . Nearly everything in this world needs rest: the same goes for your phone. This will probably be the most effective and simple way of conserving your battery’s life. Why? This will help conserve energy and also prolong your phone life. If you don't plan on answering the phone while you're sleeping or after business stuff at night, just turn it off. This will do a lot of advantage to your phone and its battery and making it longer for you

2.
Don’t try to search for a signal in an area where you know there is no signal . Why? Your phone will constantly look for a better connection, and will use up all your power doing so . The best way to ensure longer battery life is to make sure you have a great signal where you use your phone. If you don't have a perfect signal, it is better to put your phone in an offline mode to preserve the battery.

3.
If you can do it, it is advisable that you follow the method of full charge and full discharge. Don’t put your phone on charging when it is still full. This is not good for your cellular phone battery. Charge it when your battery is about to get totally discharged and when you put it for charging, let it get charged totally.

4.
This is another thing to watch for. Switch the vibration function off on your phone, using just the ring tone only . The vibrate function uses additional battery power. Keep the ring tone volume as low as possible. Vibration is good but it kills battery faster than you can imagine especially if you are not very close to where you can charge you phone.

5.
De-activate your phone's back light . The back light is what makes the phone easier to read in bright light or outside. However, the light also uses battery power. If you can get by without it, your battery will last longer. If you have to use the back light, many phones will let you set the amount of time to leave the back light on. Shorten that amount of time. Usually, one or two seconds will be sufficient. Some phones have an ambient light sensor, which can turn off the back light in bright conditions and enable it in darker ones.

6.
If you know you will not charge you phone quickly, be careful of using its camera. If you know it will be a while before your phone’s next charge, don’t use the camera or connect to the Internet. Flash photography can drain your battery especially quickly.

7.
Some people like to turn off the Bluetooth either they need it or not, this is not good. Use it only when you need it. Turn off the Bluetooth. It will drain your battery very quickly.

8.
Also, the same thing goes for WIFI, GPS, and infrared capabilities, if your phone has these features built in . Keep them off except when you need them. They kill the battery.

9.
Use GSM rather than 3G- Using your phone in 3G / Dual Mode will drain the battery quicker than if you just use GSM mode - have a look at your phones spec and you'll see it will quote two different battery life times - normally 50% more for pure GSM use . This is a fact but you may not know.

10.
You like your phone with animated stuff, isn’t it? Here this, it kills battery fast; avoid using moving or animated pictures or videos for your background. Animated backgrounds will drain the battery faster.

11.
If you don’t know, white background consumes more battery. Use a black background whenever possible. AMOLED screens use a lot less power displaying black instead of white. use black background to conserve the life of your cellular phone battery

12.
Check to see if your phone has a "Battery Save" option. If so, you can turn this on to increase the life of your battery.

13.
Watch this and do it with care, clean the battery-contacts on the battery and on the phone . Overtime, contacts may accumulate dirt which reduces the efficiency of energy transfer. Clean them with a cotton swab and rubbing or isotropy alcohol. This helps; try it.

14    Instead of turning you phone off when you want to restart for network issue when you are about to restart the phone for any network malfunction, first try to switch the flight mode ON and OFF, instead of restarting the phone, as restarting the phone consume more battery than you can imagine.

Having said all these, it noteworthy that your cellular phone battery will still “die” no matter how careful you are. But, I am sure if you follow these above tips, your cellular phone battery will last for you.
